One of the most important things to note for vTiger CRM are the many features it offers to its users and especially – the user-friendliness and ease of navigation. In this section of the tutorial, we are going to cover the installation process for themes. It is a pretty easy and straightforward one as the developers of vTiger CRM have made sure it is flawlessly effortless to follow through.
As a first step towards the installation process, you will need to choose a theme. You can do that right away on the official vTiger CRM website. After you find the appropriate one for your needs, you should download it on your computer.
Then, you have to extract the archived files and upload them in the /themes folder of your vTiger CRM installation directory via FTP. Here you can find the detailed instructions of how exactly you can do that.
Right after all these steps are followed through to completion, you can access your vTiger CRM Administration Panel. At your home page, you need to go to the gear icon at the top and then select the CRM Settings from drop-down menu:
Afterward, click on the Users option of the Summary menu, which will appear in front of you:
On the Users page, you need to select the Administrator user:
Once in the Administrator section, you need to click on the Edit button:
As soon as the editing has been allowed, you have to scroll down the page and reach the More information part. There, you will see the Theme option and when you select it – a drop-down menu will appear with all the available themes, including the one which you have uploaded, as described above. You then simply need to click on the theme of your choice:
Finally, after you have chosen the preferred vTiger CRM theme, just scroll down further, to the very bottom of the page and click on the green Save button:
