All of our Concrete5 hosting packages provide an automatic backup once a week, but you can perform one yourself and even download it on your computer for maximum security.
If you need to create a backup you have to follow certain procedures. The easiest way to do it is to download all of your Concrete5 files via FTP and then export your database. To create a backup of the files associated with the application, you should simply download them via FTP, following the instructions here.
Afterward, in order to export your Concrete5 MySQL database just go to your cPanel > phpMyAdmin and execute the steps, specified it this article.
