The installation of Textpattern can very easy, especially when using the Softaculous autoinstaller. The process requires just a few clicks. Simply login to your cPanel and find the Softaculous icon under the “Software/Services” table:
Under the “Blogs” section, find the “Textpattern” script and click on it:
Click the “Install” tab to proceed with the configuration of your Textpattern site:
Now you will need to configure some details about your site:
Choose domain – domain or subdomain for which you will be installing the site
In Directory – directory to install the script. Leave blank if you wish to access the site using https://yourdomain.com/

Site Description
Admin Username – administrative username for your site
Admin Password
Real Name
Admin Email – make sure to enter a valid email address
When you have filled all the required information, click the “Install” button and wait for Softaculous to complete the installation. Softaculous will provide you with the URLs to access your website.
