In this tutorial we are going to show you how to create a backup of your dotProject website. There are two things that you will need to do:
Backup your website files – you can backup the files by downloading a copy of the site files using FTP client. You can check our video FTP tutorials here:

Backup your site database – you can export your site database using a database management tool like phpMyAdmin. To export your site’s database we recommend following the instructions provided in our video tutorial here:

That’s it! You have successfully created a backup of your site.
