In order to setup a cronjob for your PhPlist application you can do that from the cPanel. Right after logging in you should search for an icon called Cron Jobs. You will be redirected to a page where you will receive additional information about the cronjob service and also an interface for creating and managing cronjobs will be displayed.

If you have installed the PhPlist application via softaculous web-installer you will have the cron job for the application automatically configured. However if you have installed the application manually you can simply add the following cron job to the list in the above mentioned interface for creating cron jobs.

You should set the time period in which the cronjob will be repeated. You can do that from the fields Minute, Hour, Day, Month, Weekday.

After adding the time settings you will  have add a command that should be executed. The correct command for your application is as it follows:

/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/php -q /home/user/public_html/phplist/admin/index.php -pprocessqueue -c/home/user/public_html/phplist/config/config.php >/dev/null

Note that in the above mentioned command you should change two major things.

1. You will have to enter the cPanel username for your account. You can do this by simply replacing the user word with your current username in the above command.

2. You will need to change the path to your application. You can do this by changing the path after the public_html word in the above provided command
