If you do not want your personal information to be publically available in the WHOIS registry, where everyone can see it, you can order one of our security features called Domain Privacy. Generally it is a good idea to avoid putting personal information on the internet. Additionally the Domain Privacy can reduce spam and phishing attempts and protect you against other domain-related suspicious activity.

You can order the Domain Privacy service from your Client Area -> Order -> Extra Services -> Security and SSL -> Domain Privacy.

Please note that after activating this feature for your domain name, you should allow up to 24 hours for the propagation to take place and update all major WHOIS registries around the world. After the propagation completes, you can check that your personal details were hidden from the public.
