How to enable SSL in WordPress?

In order to set your WordPress application to load using SSL you will first need to have an SSL certificate installed for your domain.

– Then you will need to go to the application’s dashboard.

– Once you are on the dashboard’s home page go to Settings > General:

On the page where you will be redirected to you will see the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields. In our example they are http://tmd-kb-tests.com/wp:

To enable the SSL you will need to replace the “http” protocol with the secured one which is “https”. The new addresses would look like the following ones:

Then you need to save the changes using the Save Changes button on the bottom of the page.
