RMS or also known as Ray Media Server is a free software which comes with Boonex Dolphin and it is based on open-source — Red 5. This media server is required in order for Flash Apps on some Dolphin modules. We are offering a RMS server for all our clients and all you need to do in order to use our RMS server for your website is to contact our Technical Support Team by submitting a support ticket from your Client Area and they will be glad to assist you with configuring your Dolphin application with the RMS Server.

The RMS term stands for Ray Media Server. This is a service that is allowing you to stream live video. This server is required for the Flash Apps module integrated in the Dolphin application.

In order to provide your visitors with video chat or by uploading video services, you will need to configure your Dolphin Application to use our RMS server. Please take a look at the following tutorial on configuring your Dolphin with RMS server:

In case you are experiencing any issues with configuring your website to work with our RMS server, please submit a support ticket from your Client Area and our Technical Support Team will be glad to assist you with this further.
