Recommended permissions for your Joomla files and folders are:

-Permissions of .htaccess file – 644
-Permissions of configuration.php file – 644 while still in development and 444 when your website is live
-Permissions of all directories – 755
-Permissions of all files – 644

You can edit the permissions for your files and folders by accessing your cPanel -> Files -> File Manager -> your-joomla-directory (usually public_html) and by selecting the file on which you are applying new permissions -> Change Permissions.

In case you are experiencing any issues with changing or checking the permissions for these files, please open a new support ticket from your Client Area with us and our Technical Support Team will be glad to assist you with this further.
