How can I install phpList from Softaculous?

The easiest and fastest way to install the phpList application to your hosting account with TMD Hosting is via the Softaculous application, which you can find in your cPanel -> Software.

In the Softaculous’ main page on the left side you will see a list of applications grouped by categories. Select phpList application in the Mails category.

After that you will see an overview of the application. Click on the Install tab and you will see a fields and options that you have to fill and select per your needs.

Here are the most important settings that you will need to fill before proceeding:

Choose Protocol – If your site has SSL, then please choose the HTTPS protocol.

Choose Domain – Please choose the domain to install the software.

In Directory – The directory is relative to your domain and should not exist. e.g. To install at http://mydomain/dir/ just typedir. To install only in http://mydomain/ leave this empty.

Site Name – Fill in the desired name for your website

Fill the administrative login details and note them in a safe place:

Admin Username
Admin Password
Real Name
Admin Email

After you fill these fields with the proper information, just click on the Install button on the bottom of the page and automated installer will be initiated.

Allow some time for the installation process to complete and you will see a congratulations page with links to your freshly installed phpList application.
