Some of the most important HTML tags, in order of relevance are:
1) Meta description

2) The title tag

You should choose a title, that best represents your website. The optimal length for it is 68 characters, as this is the number of characters Google will display in its result page.
3) Header tags: H1, H2 and H3… tags

The h1 tag is the most important one, and should always be used for the title of the page. The second most important is h2, the third – h3 and so on.
