It is not a must to register your domain name with TMDHosting. You can have it registered with another registrar and then point your DNS settings to our servers.
However, it is much more convenient to manage your hosting account and domain from one and the same place. In case you would like to do so and transfer your existing domain from another registrar to us you can do that by ordering a domain transfer from:
Client Area -> Domains -> Transfer Domain
