How to log into Drupal Admin Area

To login into your Drupal Admin area, after installing the Drupal application, on your Drupal site, simply enter your administrator's credentials into the User login form:

Creating new content?

You can create new content through the section Create content under the Drupal administrator area.

A static page can be created with the option "Page". The option "Story" is suitable for a blog or a discussion usage.

Content Management

If you want to manage the content of your Drupal web site, you need to navigate to the section Content management under the administer section.

With the following lines we are going to describe briefly the options under this section:

Drupal Comments - only users that have logged in can access/post comments with the default installation. You can change this from Administer -> User management -> Permissions. The comments settings are self-explanatory. Registered users can post comments by default (it�s not necessary to wait for moderator approvals). If you want to let anonymous users post comments, go to Administer -> User management -> Permissions -> comment module.

Content - You can manage, view, edit and delete the site content. it can be published and unpublished.

Content types - Manage posts by content type, including default status, front page promotion. Besides the Page and the Story content types you can include new ones.

Post settings - The post behavior can be controled, the number per page and the length of the posts.

RSS publishing - You can configure your RSS feed publishing.

Taxonomy - The tagging, categorization and classification of your content can be managed.
