Install a Dolphin Template

Luckily, the Dolphin templates, as opposed to the modules for it, have their unified way of installing, thus documenting this will be way more easier and precise, in terms of step-by-step guidance. First, of course, you have to obtain the template you would like to install and download it to your computer. Handful of templates can be found here:

After you choose one of them or from another location, download it and then extract the archive on your computer, so that you can have the template folder, which you will later upload to the server.

Even unified, still, some templates come with a README file, which contains certain instructions on how to utilize their best use. It is worth looking further into it, especially in case that the installed template is not looking as on the preview.
Once extracted, take the extracted folder and using your favorite FTP client upload it to your Dolphin’s folder, where you will find a folder named “templates”. Upon completion, navigate to your Dolphin administration > “Settings” > “Advanced Settings”:

On the right, click on the “Template” section:

Upon clicking, it will expand:

and from  the “Template” dropdown menu you will be able to pick up the theme, which you have just uploaded. Clicking “Save” will finalize the process and you will be ready to go with your website’s brand new template.
