How to change the appearance of the front page

Dolphin’s front page comes with plenty of blocks installed by default, some of which you might not need. If you are looking how to configure its outlook, this is the correct part of this guide, which you should follow. The same approach used in presenting the administrator area will be used in presenting the parts of the front page, as well:

1. This is the logo of your community, which we have already revised what is the proper way of changing it in chapter “How to change the logo of my social network?”.  The logo appears on all of the pages within your network’s frontend. 2. This is the main menu, which contains links to all vital parts of your website. This menu is controlled from the Administrator Area > Builders > Member menu:

3. The division there is in three parts, two of which useful:

The first part, designated as “1”, contains the active items of your menu. You can drag them between different submenus with ease. Changes you make here do not need confirmation. They become final and in effect immediately.

The second part, designated as “2”, contains the items, which are currently not active in the menu. Whenever you feel an item is no longer needed in the Active menu (part “1”), you can drag it here.

The third part, designated as “3”, contains a describing legend - Items marked in red are known as System Items. Such item, for example, is the Profile view object. - Items marked in blue are the Top level system items. Such items, for example, are Home, Join, Dashboard, My Profile links, etc. - Items marked in green are sub-mid items of a Blue ones. Such, for example is View My Profile to My Profile menu. - Items marked in gray are currently inactive.
