How to use the FileManager
You can access your file manager via your cPanel -> File manager icon.

The File manager provides you with the ability to create new files and folders, modify their permissions, upload files from your local computer, extract archives and edit text and html files.

You can navigate to the desired folder vie the navigation field on the left side of the File manager and then select the desired file or folder on the right side of your screen just like on Windows Explorer.
The New File icon on the top icon bar provides you with the ability to create a new file under the directory you have selected from the navigation left part of your file manager.
Via the New Folder icon you can create new folders on your hosting account.
After you have selected a file or folder you can use the Copy icon in order to create a copy of the desired file or folder.
The Move option provides you with the ability to move a file or directory from one location to another under your account just in a few clicks.
If you would like to upload a file under your account via the File Manager, please use the Upload icon from the top menu. This will redirect you to a new page where you will be provided with the option to select the desired file from your local computer.
On the other hand, if you would like to download a file from your hosting account to your local computer, please select the desired file and click on the Download icon.
The delete option allows you to remove files and folders from your account after you have selected them via the file manager.
You can change a file or directory name using the Rename icon on the top.
The Edit option can be used to edit any text file under your account. The Code Editor has a feature-rich text editor specially designed for coding purposes. We recommend this editor instead of the standard editor if you are going to edit any PHP files or other scripts on your account. The HTML editor is specially designed WYSWYG editor for HTML files.
If you would like to change the permissions on a file or folder, please select it and click on the Change Permissions icon from the top. A new window will pop up with the current permissions applied for the file and check boxes via which you can modify the file/folder permissions.
