How to change a gallery theme

 

Coppermine provides a lot of different themes to change its outlook. By default, it is shipped with the following choices of visual style:

 

1. Classic - The default theme with a white background and a horizontal menu.
2. Eyeball - A theme with a dark background and a horizontal menu that expands for user interaction features.
3. Fruity - A colorful theme with a vertical menu on the left.
4. Hardwired - A theme with a dark background and a smallish font size that works well for narrow space and smaller resolutions. It comes with two horizontal menus.
5. IGames - A dark theme with 3D-effects and a horizontal menu.
6. Mac OX X - A theme with a light background and an expanding horizontal menu that resembles the look of a Mac.
7. Project VII - A theme with a white background featuring a horizontal expanding menu.
8. Rainy Day -A theme with a dark background and rounded edges.
9. Waterdrop - A theme with a light background and a "conventional" horizontal menu.

 

To change the theme of your Coppermine gallery, you should first login as an administrator. Once logged in, you must click on the "Config" tab, which is located in the menu on the top.

 

 

 

 

Once the Config page is loaded, navigate to the "Themes settings" category and click on it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once the menu expands, you should see a drop-down list located on the top.

 

 

 

 

 

From it you must choose the theme that you would like to use for your Coppermine gallery:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once you choose your theme, you must confirm the change with the "Save new configuration" button on the bottom of the page.

 

 

 

 

 

When you complete this action -- voilla, your theme is now changed.
