Managing your Coppermine gallery

 

In order to start managing your Coppermine gallery, you should first login as an administrator. To do so, click on the link "Login", located on the top of the screen.

 

 

 

 

You will be forwarded to the login form, where you should input the login details you have set during the installation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The main administrative menu is located on the top of the screen. It is always on top, so you can access it on demand.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The most important parts of it are:

 

- Config - from this menu you can configure ALL of the vital aspects of your gallery.
- Categories - from this menu you can create different categories for your pictures.
- Albums - here the albums are being created.
- Groups - in Coppermine you can divide your users in different user groups. This can be done through this menu.
- Users - through this section you can modify your users' settings/
- Batch add files - using this menu, you can point the Gallery to "gather" images from a particular FTP directory and import them into an album.
