How to create a new category/subcategory in ClipBucket

We will show you here in a few simple steps how to create a new category/subcategory in ClipBucket.

The first step is to login to the administrator back-end of the script:

http://yourdomain.com /admin_area/

If the script was installed under subfolder for an example public_html/videos the admin URL will be:

http://yourdomain.com/videos/admin_area/

It is recommended to have your content categorized. This way your website visitors will be able to find what they are looking for faster.

When the admin panel is completely rendered, you will notice the main menu with all the functions of the script on the left side of the page. The menu we are looking for is called Videos > Manage Categories:



This will load the video categories manager via which you may create/delete/modify categories/subcategories on your website:



The creation of the new category when you have navigated to the above menu is pretty straight forwarded from this point on.

The “Videos” menu as other functions you may want to review. You have the option to flag and delete videos because the content is something you do not want to show on your website or these are illegally uploaded.
