How to upload videos in ClipBucket

We will show you here in a few simple steps how to upload videos in ClipBucket.

The video upload by default requires valid account to be logged in for the video upload to be allowed. You may use your main administrator account but you website visitors should register a new account. You may also review:

The new account registration is a simple process and can be initiated via the SignUp button available on the front-end of your website:



After you click on the Signup button it will load the new account registration form on the right side of the page:



When the form is completed and sent a confirmation e-mail will be generated and sent to the registrant. You may test this process to ensure that it is working fine. If there is an issue with the e-mail delivery you may review out tutorial:

After the confirmation e-mail is received and you completed the activation of the new account you may login to the website and start uploading your videos.

The following few steps will show you what is involved in the whole video upload process. The first thing is to click on the “Upload” link on your website front-page:



This will load the page where you should first enter the details for the video you will be uploading which will also categorize it. If you have not created any categories you may review the following tutorial on how to complete that:

As soon as you have completed all the fields you may click on the Continue to upload button at the very bottom right corner of the form.

You have a few options to upload a video:

1. The first option which is also selected by default is to upload a video from your computer:



2. The second option is to take the video from another server by accessing it via the URL to the file:



This method you may use if you have a video file upload to the server already via FTP and you want to add it to your ClipBucket video gallery.

3. The second option is to embed a video from another website. This will access the video from the remote server and will not download it to your website. This means that the remote video is deleted it will not load on your gallery as well.

The first two options when complete will show you a successful video upload message after the process has finished:



Please note that the conversion may take some extra time depending on the size of  the file you uploaded.
