How to install WordPress via Fantastico

In order to install WordPress via the Fantastico auto installer, please login your cPanel via http://yourdomain.com/cpanel and click on the Fantastico icon on the bottom of your page:

 

 

From the Fantastico page, please click on the WordPress link in the Blogs section:

 

 

In the WordPress page click on the New Installation

 

 

From the installation page select your domain name under which you would like to have WordPress installed and input the directory into which you would like to have your blog located. In the Admin access data and Base Configuration section input the desired administrative username and password as well as your admin nickname, email address, site name and site description and click on the Install button. The settings above can be changed latter via the WordPress admin panel:

 

 

On the next step you will be provided with some information regarding the installation process of your blog. Please click on the Finish installation button:

 

 

This will complete the installation process of your WordPress blog and provide you with your administrative username, password and the full URL to your administrative area.
