If you would like to review the additional information, kept in the email headers for each message, there is a simple way to do that. Of course the first step is to select the email that you want to see the header for. The next step depends on the email client that you are using:

 

-          For Webmail

  • Horde

Just above the email’s body, you will notice the Headers section. Click on the Show All Headers, which is located there.

 

  • SquirrelMail

Just above the email’s body, you will notice the Options section. Click on the View Full Header, which is located there.

 

  • RoundCube

Click on the Show Source button, which is located just above the email message.

 

  •  Mozilla Thunderbird

Click on View > Message Source. The shortcut for this option is the following combination of buttons: Ctrl + U

 

  • Mac Mail

Click on View > Message > Long Headers

 

  • Gmail

Next to the Reply button, you will notice a down-arrow. Click on it and choose the Show original option

 

  • Opera

Click the right-mouse button > View All Headers and Message

 

-          Microsoft Outlook Express

Click on File > Properties > Details > Message Source

 

  • Microsoft Outlook 2003

Click on View > Options > Internet Headers

 

  • Microsoft Outlook 2007

Click on Options > Internet Headers

 

  • Entourage

Click on View > Options > Internet Headers
