How can I access directly in Awstats without log in cPanel?
There is a way to set your Awstats and access the service without logging your cPanel account. In order to do so, there are a few simple steps that you can do manually.
First you need to download the Awstats and extract the files on your local computer. Here is a link where you can download Awstats:
The next step is to upload all the files in the cgi-bin folder on your computer to the cgi-bin directory on your account. This folder is located in both public_html and WWW directory of your account, as both folders lead to the same content.
After you do that, you will have to create a folder called “icon” in the public_html (or “www”) directory of your account and upload all the content from wwwroot/icon/ into that folder.
The next step is to go to the cgi-bin directory on your server and rename the file called “awstats.model.conf” to “awstats.myvirtualhostname.conf”. This is the configuration file that you need to edit so you can complete the process. Please review the following steps in order to do that:
- For the value of LogFile, you need to enter the path to the log file on the server. It is:
where domainname.com is the domain name associated with your account.
-The LogFormat value that you need to set is:
-For the DirIcons you will need to set the path to the folder “icons” that you created on your server
-For the SiteDomain you need to enter the domain name associated with your account
-For the DirDate you need to enter the path to the AWStats statistics, which is:
where user is the username that you use in order to enter your cPanel account.
When you are done configuring the AWStats, you can access them via the following url:
In the url that we provided, please change both of the domainname.com values to the domain name associated with your account.
