Unfortunately SSL certificates TMDHosting offer cannot be transferred to another hosts as they issued and approved for TMDhosting servers only.

To have a transfer of SSL certificate from your previous host you will have to request an installation of a 3rd party certificate via your client area > Order > Extra Services > Security and SSL > SSL Installation + Dedicated IP (does not include the certificate).

If a CSR has to be generated you can request that via opening a ticket with TMDHosting support staff via your client area.

The SSL certificated is issued for one year. After the expiration you should simply purchase another one and we shall gladly renew it for you.

To order a SSL certificate with TMDhosting you should access your client area > Order tab > Extra services > Security and SSL. You should choose the certificate you would like your website to use.

All your website related files and content is stored in your domain web-root (with TMDHosting servers this is the public_html directory). For your files to be accessed using HTTPS you should upload them in your public_html directory.
