The free primary domain registered upon sign up is automatically renewed with the renewal of the hosting account. If you no longer would like to use the hosting account with us, but keep the domain, you may renew it via your client area -> My Domains -> Domain Renewals.

Changes to the settings of a domain name, including DNS servers, may take up to 24 hours to become effective. You may check in which areas the DNS propagation has been completed from here. When the propagation is complete, you will be able to access your website from the server which hosts your account.

Once the primary domain of your account has been changed, you may add your old domains as parked via your cPanel -> Parked Domains. That way you will have the website accessed via both old and new domains.

Depending of the script which your website uses it could be affected by the primary domain change. Some scripts are configured to use a certain domain name upon installation and need to be reconfigured in order to work properly with another domain. Changing the primary domain for your account, will not affect the login information which you have used until now. This means that your cPanel and FTP username will remain unchanged. Any additional FTP accounts which have been created using the old domain will be changed to username@your-new-domain.com

If you would like to have another domain opening the same content as your primary domain, you should add the old domain as „parked“ for your account. When signing up with TMDHosting, we register a free domain for you. The free domain name registration is an offer valid up to the 7th day from the account activation. Afterwards, it is no longer valid. You can always register additional domains for your account through your client area -> Domains -> Register Domain section

Unfortunately we are not able to re-register a domain registered with another company. In that case the best course of actions is to contact the company through which you have registred the domain and renew it. Then you may considr transferring the domain to us.
